Writing Prompt:
(Give the doc a name as soon as you begin and save it regularly.)
Think about your strengths and abilities. What can you do at least a little better, faster, or easier than many other people? For example, are you good at sports, speaking or performing in front of an audience, music, debating, designing, or creating Tik Tok videos? Are you a fashionista? Are you especially good with children or animals? Or are you a good listener and the person whom everyone turns to in a crisis? The possibilities are endless.
Identify one of these strengths (abilities, talents, etc) to write about. Your response should be approximately 3-5 paragraphs or 400-500 words. The number of paragraphs will depend on how detailed each paragraph is.
Your response should develop the following ideas:
Identify and describe what it is that you are good at doing,
HOW did you get good at doing that one thing (the process),
What do you feel when you are doing this and/or what does it bring to your life, (feelings, value, benefits)
How might you apply the process of “getting good” to being a student in this class and/or at college?
You do not have to follow the same order and you can add other things to the discussion.
