1. Periodically during the day become aware of your thoughts (“what am I thinking?”), emotions (“what am I feeling?”) and your actions (“what am I doing?”). At first, it might be helpful to set a sound reminder on you phone every hour.
2. The last thing before going to sleep: stayed seated with your back straight and your eyes closed. In your mind’s eye go through your day in reverse to the time you woke up in the morning.
