Ever since the 2016 presidential election in the United States, there has been much discussion around network security, hacking, foreign countries gaining unauthorized access to various resources, and so on. There have been corresponding claims in the UK that hackers have influenced the elections.
1. How would one secure the United States (or for that matter any other country) from cyberattacks?
2. What can be done to secure autonomous vehicles from cyberattacks? What should be the government’s role in enabling such innovations and at the same time ensuring security?
3. Do you think that cyberattacks will unduly affect the ongoing functioning of the US (or even British, French, German, among others) government today?
