This is a history paper based on early Latin American Civilizations. The paper needs to be centered on this question I chose: What about Huamanga’s Taki Onqoy movement reveal about the nature and basis of Peru’s colonial rule? I would like the essay writer to consider some of the following points. What was the meaning of the movement? Why and by whom was the non-violent Taki Onqoy seen as a serious threat? Why did it not succeed? How was the colonial regime subsequently reformed? Being careful not to just repeat facts, a careful mix of illustrative detail and insightful analysis Be sure to consider native as well as Spanish perspectives. Also, I’ll add the main source here. Peru’s Indian peoples and the challenge of Spanish conquest :Huamanga to 1640 /Steve J. Stern.
